Abstract

In this study, I considered about the attempt of the program of “the parent’s meeting” carried out parallel to the group therapy for children having needs of the development support and the reaction of the protectors. This parent’s meeting was constructed by the homogeneity in the age and development characteristics of the children. In the program, it was suggested that it was useful for theme setting and contrivance of one of the programs as theme talk to use the visual tool which could look at objectively by using a worksheet and to analyze it, not only talking about theme. In addition, the expression of the protectors in the relaxation program softened than program to continue only a theme talk and their communication with therapists and also between protectors became active naturally, because they were relaxed. Therefore I considered that relaxation program was significant to contribute not only the function as the support program which protector needs to relax the emotional side (fatigue, a feeling of pressure) , butalso the sence of belonging for the parent’s meeting group itself.
