<p>In this study, we proposed a new analysis method of cognition preferences for urban landscapes based on machine learning algorithms and SNS data. Benefiting from the high performance of machine learning algorithms and the diversity of SNS data, this new framework can not only accurately estimate urban residents’ subjective evaluation of urban landscapes but also quantitatively compare the cognition preferences of residents with different characteristics.</p>
