Abstract

Due to the modernization and urbanization of Japan, traditional events and festivals in old villages have undergone major changes, but some have been inherited. In this paper, we clarify the Gozan Okuribi event as an cace study of "Myoho" event in Matsugasaki, Sakyo Ward in Kyoto City.
