Abstract
<p>Itoigawa city in Niigata prefecture is a main locality of jadeite in Japan. However, unlike Myanmar, pink jadeite is not seen. Actually, there comes so-called “pink jade”. In this research we tested them and found they are zoisite and clinozoisite coloured by manganese.</p>
