Description

The objective of this study is to clarify the characteristics and transition of spaces that enhance workers' sensibility and creativity, and induce knowledge behavior, by targeting the Nikkei New Office Award-winning works. We analyzed the captions of the books introducing the Nikkei New Office Award-winning works by text mining to understand the design intent and design of the spaces. It was found that the office room is positioned as an open space that emphasizes interaction between employees, the conference room is positioned as a place for sharing information inside and outside the company, and the common space is positioned as a cafe space that induces encounters among employees.
