説明

The present paper is a continuation of our reports on cytological investigations of Antarctic mosses. Chromosome numbers for eleven additional species belonging to seven genera and six families are reported herein. Chromosome counts for Tortula conferta (n = 24), T. excelsa (n = 12), T. fuscoviridis (n = 12), T. grossiretis (n = 24, 36, and ca 40), and Schistidium antarctici (n = 13) are given here for the first time. Also, a new chromosome number of n = 18 has been found for Campyliadelphus polygamus. A review of all previously published cytological data on Antarctic mosses is included.
