簡易精神鑑定の結果,多重人格障害と診断された殺人未遂犯の女子患者に関する症例報告を行った。本症例の鑑定診断をめぐる問題,連続幼女誘拐殺人事件のM被告人との比較検討,責任能力や治療をめぐる問題が,主たる論点であった。本症例を多重人格障害として即,心神喪失,すなわち責任無能力に帰するのは,精神医学的診断上及び法的手続き上,疑義が多く,とりわけ人格交代現象の客観的確認なくして多重人格障害の精神鑑定は公証性を担保しにくい旨,注意が喚起された。

The patient of this case study was a twenty-four-year-old woman ; an attempted murder suspect subjected to the psychiatric test and diagnosed as having MPD. The main stress falled on the questions about the diagnosis, the criminal responsibility and the treatment. In the discussion, a comparison was made between this case and the case of Mr. M. indicted for four counts of kidnapping and murder. In the result, it did not seem reasonable to diagnose her case as MPD and to hold her criminally nonresponsible by reason of insanity. It was suggested that the emergence of “subpersonalities" or “alterpersonalities" should be confirmed in the diagnosis of MPD.
