Description

The Chief Digital Officers (CDO) is drawing attention as a new C-suite position for building digital strategy and leading digital transformation. The adoption rate of the CDO has been growing fast, getting higher than twenty percent both in the private and public sectors. However, since the introduction of CDOs is in the very early stage, the role is not yet clear. Considering that the academic research on this topic is very limited, this article addresses their roles based mainly on business and consulting reports for preparing the study.
