Abstract
<p> The effect of the change of the wet-soil dielectric model in the microwave soil moisture retrieval algorithm was examined by comparing among Dobson, Mironov, and our proposing dielectric models at 1.4, 10, and 36 GHz. The result showed that Mironov and proposing models tend to estimate larger soil water amount, but with different effects depending on observation frequencies, seasons, and soil types.</p>
