Abstract

Filmmaking on game engines is gaining attention as a new production method. However, when asset management systems that were made for conventional production methods are used for it, problems about data size and speed are caused. In this research, we developed an asset management system for filmmaking on Unity game engine. First, when users register assets to the server as tasks, directories for these assets are created on the server. In the asset making process, all assets are uploaded these directories. In the shot making process, only necessary assets for each shot are downloaded to the client PC.
