Abstract

<p>In studies of the sustainability transitions, the multi-level perspective (MLP) has often been utilised as the research framework. In the MLP, the niche where the innovation takes place is located at the lowest level. The purpose of the present study was to identify the spatial distribution of transport-related niches. For this purpose, the OECD patent data were used. As a result, it was revealed that the niches were regionally unevenly distributed.</p>
