Abstract

<p>In recent years, there are a lot of wooden houses that is needed seismic retrofitting. We have developed a lattice bearing wall suitable for seismic retrofitting of tenement style wooden house. It is made of 12mm structural plywood laid diagonally for transparency and ventilation. In this study, the performance of lattice bearing wall is clarified and we proposed the simple analysis model of lattice bearing wall as a result. It was clarified that the simple analysis model could accurately estimate the structural performance of lattice bearing wall.</p>
