Abstract
<p>A study has been carried on estimating the distributed permittivity inside the measured object, a technology for estimating the distributed permittivity from capacitance and electric potential has not yet been established. In this paper, the capacitance and potential were calculated using the finite element method (FEM) with three measuring electrodes of different sizes. We proposed an estimation algorithm using capacitance and electric potential with distributed permittivity. The results of the estimation using proposed algorithm were described.</p>
