Abstract

<p>Modern people are less connected to the dead than in previous times. However, on a personal level, some people may still have an intense connection with the dead. In this paper, I will discuss a case in which a woman with such a connection traveled through the world of the dead in the course of therapy. She felt that she was a reincarnation of her great-aunt, while having difficulty living in the real world. In her dreams, she lived in the wartime period in which her great-aunt lived, and there she encountered various dead people. At the same time, she found work with the dead in the real world. She made a single story out of dream experiences. It is as if she had brought her experiences in the world of death back to the world of life, after which her symptoms disappeared.</p>
