Abstract

<p>Efforts to publish open data are spreading among local governments. Open data is data that can be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, and is also expected to be used commercially by companies. In this research, we focus on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which publishes examples of open data utilization. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is aware of 29 cases of use, of which 11 are cases of use by companies. The use cases by companies are not necessarily commercial use, but it is thought that it will lead to commercial use, and the possibility of commercial use of open data can be found from this result.</p>
