Abstract

<p>Existing studies pointed out that a platform (PF) with many users has a decided competitive advantage because of the network effect. However, in recent years, there are problems that some new users behave maliciously in the PF, as the number of PF users increases. Thus, some studies analyzed the impact of user quality management on trust in the platform. But strict user controls may have a negative impact on the value of the platform because they cause users to experience more hassle. Therefore, this study attempted to clarify the impact of user quality management on platform value in the early stage and late stage of the diffusion of PF by performing a questionnaire survey and conducting structural equation modeling.</p>
