Abstract

<p>The widespread adoption of the internet, smartphones, and social media has significantly transformed the information environment around us. Everyone now has easy means to broadcast and receive information, but this comes with negative aspects like the issue of social media posts causing uproar and the concept of digital tattoos. Dealing with digital media and the varied quality of information it carries is complex. At the SmartNews Media Research Institute, we focus on creating educational content aimed at promoting better living in the digital age and teaching how to handle the abundance of information. In this article, we will introduce the initiatives of the Media Research Institute and explore literacy education and materials suitable for the digital era.</p>
