Abstract

<p>We carried out full-scale pull-out loading tests for resistance of cast-in-place concrete belled pile. Tests were conducted with six piles using the soil type of bell enlargement and tilt angle as parameters. Then, simulation analysis of the tests was performed by FEM with a two-dimensional axisymmetric model. The results of the tests conducted in this study could be simulated to some extent by the model which considers the nonlinear characteristics of the pile and the ground. In addition, the basic tendency of the distribution of deformation and shear stress of the ground near the bell enlargement was also confirmed.</p>
