Description

A push-out test was conducted using specimens connecting cross laminated timber (CLT) and concrete with lag screws, inserted at an angle of 0°–60° in the direction of lag screw bearing tensile forces. The purpose of this test was to examine the effect of the insertion angle of lag screws, which are used as shear connectors in CLT–concrete composite slabs, on shear performance. The results showed that when the insertion angle was increased from 0° to 30°, the stiffness (slip modulus) increased and the yield as well as the maximum and ultimate loads tended to reach their maximum values.
