Abstract

In this study, we collected examples of area hospitality initiatives that utilize local resources in Japan and organized their actual conditions. As a result, it was found that many facilities provide necessary functions in cooperation with the town, even if they are not decentralized lodging facilities operated by an organization. The purpose of the facility type is not only to revitalize the local community, but also to reduce the burden of management. The involvement of guests in the community is influenced by introductions from lodging facilities.
