Description

The study focuses on assessing the changes in the performance of OCOP entities and analyzing the factors involving their technology investment decisions. The study interviewed the total population of 52 OCOP entities to evaluate the performance changes. Multiple regression was employed to investigate the determinants behind the technology adoption. The study shows 98% of entities acknowledged positive changes due to OCOP, with a 5–10% output increase, 88% updated packaging, and 50% adopted innovative production methods. The current study proves that the awareness of current technology levels and participation in e–commerce had a significant impact on the investment decisions of OCOP entities. The OCOP program, a pivotal national initiative aimed at fostering sustainable development in Vietnam’s rural areas, necessitates a comprehensive assessment of its nationwide impact.
