<p>This study investigated trends and issues in the development,maintenance and operation of urban parks utilizing Park-PFI. By classifying parks based on region and park characteristics, three trends were identified: reducing the burden on local governments,revitalizing local economies,and promoting local activities. In addition, two issues were identified: the need to consider the use of parks by community groups, and the establishment of revenue-generating facilities in specific park facilities.</p>
