A Study on Outlier Filtering for Estimated Heart Rate in mm-Wave Radar based Vital Signs Sensing

説明

Social implementation of mm-wave radar based non-contact heart rate measurement, long-lasting burst error is caused probably due to long-term disturbances caused by target's biometric characteristics and movements, surrounding space and radio wave propagation environment. In this paper, we propose a solution to the problem in which burst outliers are replaced with the moving average of the estimated heart-rate mode most in a long period. An experimental result show that burst error is significantly improved for 5 minutes measurement.
