Description

<p>Nutmeg is a readily available spice commonly used in various dishes. In Western countries and United States, it is widely known as a hallucinogen and intoxicant. Whereas it is not well known as that in Japan. As a result, typical symptoms of intoxication and effective treatment have not been clearly established. I report a case in which gastric lavage was effective in treating the symptoms of nutmeg poisoning.</p>
