Description

 We developed a new kind of formwork left in place: Ductal formⓇ. It uses ultra high strength fiber reinforced concrete, "DuctalⓇ", which can be of "Ductal FM type-S" or "C-type", respectively having a new kind of reinforcing fiber and a new bond face shape. Main test items related to its development were strength properties of "Ductal FM type-S" and adhesive properties of "C-type". "Ductal form" was authorized by "Construction Technology Review and Certification" in March 2002. Its performance for formwork left in place, including its durability, was confirmed. We carried out modification of "Ductal form" in "Construction Technology Review and Certification" mainly by an addition of test data related to its development. Official reviews of the modification confirm that performance of "Ductal FM type-S" and "C-type" are equivalent to "Ductal form" performance.
