Computational Models for the Design of Artificial Genetic Circuits of RS- and JK-FlipFlops

Several kind of artificial genetic circuits (AGCs) have been designed with the knowledge of biology, mathematics and informatics. We analyzed dynamic models of the AGCs to realize RS- and JK-flipflops. We visualized nullcline diagrams of the ODEs for these flipflops in a phase space and confirmed the behavior of these dynamic models whether these models can function as designed. We also tried to design gene structures so that the regulation of gene expression is similar to these flipflop circuit functions.
