Abstract

Water quality of the Nikoro River and Kunnepu River, which are tributaries flowing only in agricultural areas, deteriorated, and that of the Tokoro River in the lower reaches of Kitami City also deteriorated, according to an analysis based on hydrogeography. This result shows that human activities in general have a great influence on the water environment.
