Description

The simple one way valve manifold (O. W. V. M) to exclude the hazardous excess anesthetic gases in the operating room was investigated in the clinical anesthesia for the adults and infants. There were no dangerous physiological respiratory problems in these clinical trials using the O. W. V. M.. The concentrations of halothane and N_2O in the sampling gases of the operating room were anestheics in conventional anesthesia, but halothane in the sampling gases of the operating room was not detectable and the concentration of N_2O was not increased within three hours of anesthetic time with one percent halothane in three liters of N_2O and one and half liters of O_2 per minute mixtures by employing the O. W. V. M..
