Description
Daily time series of ice-algal productivity, ice-algal biomass, sea-ice concentration, snow depth, sea-ice thickness, sea-ice nitrate, and ocean surface nitrate for 1980-2009 simulated by five models. These models are developed in the the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), the University of Victoria (UVic), and the University of Washington (UW), respectively. Two packages of global and regional versions are provided by the UAF. The other three datasets are produced by pan-Arctic regional models. More detailed are described in Watanabe et al. [2019, Journal of Geophysical Research Oceans], where multi-model intercomparison of ice-algal productivity was conducted in the Forum for Arctic Modeling and Observational Synthesis (FAMOS) project. This study was supported by JSPS KAKENHI (18H03368).
