Abstract
Attitude of public elementary school and junior high school teachers on teacher's load and computer use for school work was done. 69 elementary schools and 51 junior high schools from 9 prefectures in Japan were chosen. A questionnaire was sent to all teacher of the school by post. 35 elementary schools (51% of collection rates, 482 teachers) and 16 junior high schools (31% of collection rates, 245 teachers) were replied so far. As a result of the analysis above data, the load of school work, especially for paper work, was reduced by using IT. However teacher's time for their school work is limited. Therefore, it is cleared the needs for the system to collect educational information efficiently for teachers.
