Abstract

The analysis of eddy current and electromagnetic forces in the magnetic fusion devices is one of the key analyses to construct reliable fusion machines. Typical results of the electromagnetic analysis of the tokamak main components during plasma disruption, and the eddy current distribution in the Large Helical Device (LHD) due to helical coil quench and PF coil operation have been presented to show the typical pattern of eddy current and electromagnetic forces in the fusion experimental reactors.
