Selected Paper : Enhanced Terahertz Emission from Cu[x]O/Metal Thin Film Deposited on Columnar-Structured Porous Silicon

Abstract
<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>We propose a novel method to enhance the THz emission from CuxO/metal nano thin film by using columnar-structured microsized porous silicon (MS-PSi) as the substrate. THz emission was improved several times higher than that from the planar substrate due to the decreased optical reflectance and enlarged surface area.</jats:p>
