Abstract
Abstract
The magnitude of synergic effect related to the facilitated pertraction of pantothenic acid using two carriers (TOA and D2EHPA) was analyzed in direct correlation with the operating parameters and polarity of membrane phase. Compared to the facilitated pertraction with each individual carrier, the results obtained for pertraction systems containing a carrier mixture indicated that the most important synergism was recorded for liquid membrane consisting of heptane with low concentration of organophosphoric carrier and high aminic carrier concentration. However, the important synergic effect related to the acid transfer to liquid membrane affected the amplitude of synergism corresponding to the stripping process.
