Abstract
<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Polysaccharide analogues having 2-deoxypsicofuranose as a repeating unit were successfully synthesized by ring-opening metathesis polymerization of 7-oxanorbornene-2,3-diol and dihydroxylation. The amphiphilic polysaccharide analogues conjugated with poly(ethylene glycol), a near-infrared fluorescence dye and a tumor-targeting cyclic arginine–glycine–aspartic acid peptide showed low cytotoxicity in vitro and high tumor-targeting specificity in vivo.</jats:p>
