説明

The outline and the progress of enactment of ISO standards for the test procedure of SPT and Dynamic probing now underway is reported. The final drafts of these standards, valid for both European and ISO members and intended for a parallel vote, will be prepared by Oct. 2003. They are based on those of European Standards established by the European Committee for Standardization in March 2002 and revised based on ISO member's comments. Some comments on these ISO standards are also remarked.
