Abstract

From some mathematical texts in the beginning of the Edo Era, the report lists up values and calculating methods such as for length of one ken, π, coefficient of sphere, volume of conical frustrum, coefficient of circular cone, volume of solid of revolution, volume of dry measure and volume of irregular cube. The arrangement of the mathematical texts in the era allows to facilitate reading out of the change of the above. A problem is proposed here with Ekisai Kariya's opinion for them added as well.
