Description

This paper deals with the biology and the life history of Pseudoxenos iwatai Esaki. P. iwatai was described by Dr. Esaki in 1931 as a parasite of Eumenes decoratus Smith. Afterwards Dr. Iwata (1935, 1953) added three following species of Eumenid wasps as the hosts of P. iwatai. 1. Rygchium micado Kirsch 2. Odynerus quadrifasciatus Fabricius 3. E. rubrofemoratus Tosawa The author, in the course of the investigation of the flower visiting wasps aud bees on Vitex cannabifola Sieb. et Zucc., discovered the following speices which were stylopized by P. iwatai. 4. R. haemorrhoidale fukaii Cameron 5. R. flavopunctatum f. tsushimarum Yasumatsu
