Abstract

Trilateral retinoblastoma (TRb) consists of unilateral or bilateral hereditary retinoblastoma (Rb) and an intracranial neuroblastic tumor. Although its occurance is low, the prognosis is very poor. Due to the susceptibility of TRb patients to cancer, treatment itself is very problematic. We have treated three cases of TRb, among which two cases were treated with high-dose chemotherapy. One of them has survived disease free for more than 3.5 years without radiation therapy.
