Abstract

This paper is an attempt to summarize some of the important contents that were reported as "On the Structure and Frame-work of Urban Intelligence Sciences", at the Second Conference of Japan Urban Intelligence Sciences Society, which was held at the Aoyama Gakuin University on November 30,1985. This paper consists of four chapters : Chapter 1 Introduction, Chapter 2 Concepts and Frameworks of City, Chapter 3 Concepts and Frameworks of Information and Intelligence, Chapter・4 Conclusion-Framework of Urban Intelligence Sciences. Being implicit in an philosophy of cybernetics, this paper provides a view to evaluate the structure and framework of newly developed urban intelligence sciences after an exposition of information and intelligence individually.
