Abstract

Parvovirus B19(PVB19)infectious erythema epidemics occur at 5-6-year intervals, We admin-istered gamma-globulins to protect the fetus in a pregnant woman with PVB 19 infection developing early during pregnancy. Examination of maternal plasma and amniotic fluid revealed Bl9DNA and thus confirmed infection of both mother and fetus. In the 23rd and 24th weeks of pregnancy 7, 500 mg / day of gamma-globulin was administered. In the 38th week a healthy(Ap. 9 / 10)girl was born. Therefore, administration of gamma-globulin to infected pregnant women may be worthwhile.
