This paper describes 3D-CAD design education for mechanical engineering students in Kochi University of Technology. The design target was selected to be a wind power generator which was actually produced. From the view point of research interest, a wind power generator using rare-earth material permanent magnets has been studied. 3D-CAD education aiming such a real product was considered to be a tool for understanding design, and internet multi-stations design will be realized in the very near future in industries. 3D-CAD and internet design is expected to be a new design curriculum in universities
