Abstract

Two new species of longicorn beetles belonging to the genus Pidonia are described from Japan. One of them, P. sylvicola n. sp., was obtained from the mountainous areas in the Chubu and Kanto Districts, and the other, P. hamadryas n. sp., was obtained on Mt. Zao in the Tohoku District of Honshu.
