Description
This basic study concerns the sloshing which is important in various engineering aspect. In order to generalise the vertical sloshing, namely, the Faraday resonance, in a cylindrical container with a triangle-cross section, we consider as well as a system of a vessel with three tubes (three-tubes-vessel system), which are forced to oscillate vertically. In experiments, the system is driven by an electro-magnetic-excitor. We use distilled water as working fluid, and observe the free-surfaces motions by a camcorder and laser sensors. In computations, we solve modeled ordinary equations by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. As a result, we reveal model-stability-boundary charts, and so on.
