Description

Since the LDL apheresis treatment has been applied to patients with familial hyper-cholesterolemia with coronary atherosclerosis, this method has been used to treat arteriosclerotic obliterans(ASO)due to hypercholesterolemia. In this paper we reviewed the many reports of ASO treated with LDL apheresis, and discussed the mechamism of the effect.
