Abstract
The signal processing technique extracted the required signal from vibration and acoustic generated by operating machinery system or its components are important, with regard to machinery condition monitoring. Acoustic diagnosis has usually the advantage of don't keeping contact with machinery components which are sound sources and being low cost as to its sensor system. In this paper, we have tried to approach an acoustic diagnosis method is based on AR model (Linear Auto Regressive Model) a kind of system identification against an operating grinding wheel and seek for precise diagnosis in the case of applied acoustic signal. The use of this technique enable signal-to-noise ratio of the required signal including the acoustic transducer output to give a greatly improved.
