Abstract
The cooking exhaust odor that generated during cooking diffuses in the whole houseroom. Even if the cooking was finished, the odor adsorbs to wall materials and interior textiles and has an influence on the comfort of the resident. This investigation used a 2,4-decadienal as an odor model component, and the adsorption/desorption characteristic to the textiles of the component was quantitatively analyzed by a head-space GC method. It was clarified that the difference of the amount of adsorption/desorption of the odor component to the textiles surface was based on surface shape and material.
