Description

General characters of the lepturine genus Pidonia are described. Key to 6 subgenera including a new subgenus is presented. The distributional ranges of subgenera are clarified respectively. The insuturata group is taxonomically reviewed and one new species of this group is described. Furthermore, the difference in distributional patterns among species is discussed from the viewpoint of vertical distributional zonation.
