In this paper, an evolutionary hybrid control system is proposed. A combined system of intelligent fuzzy optimal active control methods, and Fuzzy Control whose rules are optimized by Genetic Algorithm (GA) are composed. In the intelligent fuzzy optimal active control, an equivalent damping method is employed. A five-degree-of-freedom system with AMD at the top of it is used as objective structure. Digital simulations are caviled out to compare the results of intelligent fuzzy optimal control, fuzzy control and hybrid control systems. Simulation results show that proposed hybrid control system has the merits of both intelligent fuzzy optimal control and fuzzy control. The effectiveness of proposed hybrid active control system is verified by digital simulations.
