Description
Recently, circuit scale and the number of splices of a wire harness tend to increase while a lot of high functional systems are carried by an automobile. Such a large & complex circuit leads to a decrease in wire harness productivity while increasing the production cost and weight. A Junction Block which forms electrical circuits is one of the solutions, however the Junction Block itself becomes too large and heavy due to the increasing number of circuits. To solve the new problem, we have developed the low cost FPC and the optimum soldering method. We have also produced the FPC-Junction Block which uses narrower pich connectors and is smaller, lighter, with a higher circuit density than any other current Junction Block. Additionally, due to the new soldering technology, reliability of the FPC soldering is increased compared to normal solderling procedures
