A variety of Home Networks services such as Home Security service, Home Energy Management service, Healthcare service and Media Sharing Service, etc are expected to diffuse for consumers. On the other hand, there still remain problems to be solved. For instance, the increase of the service development, operation, and the user support for the service providers; the complication of setup and use services for the users; the new hardware development for the hardware manufacturers. Home ICT Platform solves these problems. It offers various common functions to achieve the quick service launches and the decrease of the cost of service development. In this lecture, the technology of Home ICT platform is introduced.
